Welcome to the
Practice MAnagement Training programme

Asumpta Gallagher

With over 17 years experience working as a Manager in General Practice, Asumpta Gallagher identified a need to provide a range of services to General Practice. It was through her own experience managing large Practices in Dublin and Galway, that she identified a need to provide customised staff Training initially. Having completed the ICGP Management in Practice Programme in 2001, Asumpta found that there was very little available in terms of training and development and little to no peer support, particularly outside Dublin.
Asumpta set up Best Practice in early 2018 to meet these needs and more. To date, she has worked with over 40 Practices across Ireland providing Training & Consultancy services in the areas of Practice Management, Business Mentoring and HR. She also provides One to One Mentoring and Coaching sessions to GPs. To date, Asumpta has delivered accredited training to over 500 GPs, Practice Managers and Medical Receptionists through live Training Days and online.
